OFFICE HOURS AND APPOINTMENTS
- Our office hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. When you call for an appointment, you will be asked about the nature of your problems so we can schedule you appropriately. Urgent and emergent problems will be given priority and will be seen as soon as possible. If you are running late, please notify our office. Your punctuality helps our office to run more efficiently.
- Except in the case of an emergency, we prefer to see patients by appointment. This allows us to reserve ample time for consultation and discussion.
- Some appointments may require additional time, and emergencies may cause unpredictable delays. We will attempt to notify you when schedule changes develop. Please feel free to contact the office before your appointment to inquire about schedule delays. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify our office.
EMERGENCIES
- If an urgent situation arises while the office is open, call the office. The doctor will be in touch with you directly or through office personnel giving you instructions.
- In the event of an emergency after hours, go immediately to the emergency room of your choice. The ER staff will coordinate your care with our on-call urologist.
TELEPHONE HOURS
- Hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday. All routine urological problems should be handled during office hours.
- Our staff is specially trained to answer your questions and to arrange for prescription refills. If you are calling for a refill, please call your pharmacy. All refill requests should be handled during office hours.
FEES & INSURANCE
- In order to provide our patients with the most efficient service, we ask that you review our fee policies.
- All co-pays are expected at the time of the office visit. Surgical fees, insurance coverage and payment options are discussed prior to surgery.
- Our goal is to provide the high quality and affordable medical care. Insurance policies allow us to reduce administrative costs without diminishing the quality of our service to you.
- We accept Medicare assignment. This means we contract with Medicare to accept 80% reimbursement of medical services and procedures at a predetermined rate. By law, we are obligated to collect the 20% not covered by Medicare from the patient, plus your annual deductible. We will file all Medicare claims. As a courtesy, we will also file supplemental insurance for you.
- We participate with most insurances and health plans. Please contact your insurance company if you are unsure if we participate with your plan.
