Meet Catherine Harris, MD
Catherine Harris, MD, is a board-eligible urologist at Urological Associates in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dr. Harris has a decade of experience and specializes in voiding dysfunction, urinary incontinence, pelvic floor reconstruction, urodynamics, pelvic prolapse, and neurogenic bladder secondary to multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injury. She passionately improves the quality of life in each of her patients.
Dr. Harris earned her Bachelor of Arts in history and journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). She then completed her Doctor of Medicine, with recognition as the best medical student in urology, from the University of Texas School of Medicine in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Harris finished her training with a urology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, where she learned advanced techniques in robotic and reconstructive surgery from leaders in the field. She completed a two-year fellowship, specializing in reconstructive surgery and female pelvic medicine, at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Harris is eligible for certification with the American Board of Urology and its Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery subspecialty certification. She is a member of the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU), and the American Urological Association (AUA).
Outside of the office, Dr. Harris enjoys spending time with her husband and son, scuba diving, boating, water skiing, and exploring the Colorado outdoors. She warmly welcomes patients to Urological Associates and looks forward to caring for them.
